Partner
Janet is a cofounder of the firm, Berry Kington & Utley, PSC that was formed in 1995. She has over 40 years of accounting experience. After graduating from Loyola University (1975), New Orleans, she practiced in Louisiana and Florida before locating to Madisonville, Kentucky. Janet eventually teamed up with Charlie in 1995 and Shellie in 2014 to form a practice together. Janet specializes in corporate, individual and not for profit income taxes and planning, information systems integration and management consulting. She is a Certified Fraud Examiner, a Certified Information Technology Professional and a Elite Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor. . As an Elite QuickBooks Pro Adviser she can assist you with QuickBooks On Line, QuickBooks Desktop, QuickBooks Enterprise, QuickBooks Point of Sale and a myriad of related products. Janet has extensive qualifications for computer assistance and functioning. She has an expertise in business startup for all of the technological needs of the acquiring business. Shellie K Utley
Partner
Shellie K Utley, CPA is a partner with Berry Kington & Utley PSC. She began her career in public accounting after graduating magna cum laude from the University of Evansville in 1988. After receiving her license in 1990, she pursued training in both the public and private sectors of accounting. Her experience includes personal and business income taxation, small private company, local government and not for profit auditing and establishing accounting systems using various software systems. As a member of both the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Kentucky Society of CPA's, she maintains her continuing education credentials in order to assist her existing and future clients in their business endeavors. Education and Certifications Professional and Community Associations As a native of Webster County, Kentucky, she believes we each should strive to make our community better in order for others to enjoy the place she loves to call home.
